BSC 295 Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy

Scheduled for Spring 2009
In this lecture/lab course students are introduced to the functional morphology of vertebrates using an evolutionary perspective to explore how and why differences in vertebrate anatomy arose.

 

BSC 304 Senior Seminar in Biology

Course content varies, but in previous semesters the focus has been on the effects of endocrine disrupting compounds on animals (including humans).

 

BSC 306.08 Costa Rican Rainforest Ecology

Fall 2008
Students participate in a weekly seminar culminating in a 10-day field experience at La Selva Biological Station in Costa Rica.

 

BSC 325 Ecological Physiology of Animals

Fall 2008
In this lecture course students explore the physiological adaptations that animals have undergone in response to environmental heterogeneity and is open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
