Seminar Speakers Available

Members of our department are eager to give seminar presentations on their research.  The department will cover the travel costs for faculty members to drive to nearby institutions to give research seminars if the visit will include time for the seminar speaker to meet with undergraduates who are interested in pursuing graduate degrees in Biological Sciences at Illinois State.  This could be a formal meeting with undergraduates or  a seminar audience that is primarily composed of undergraduates.  If your institution is within driving distance of Normal, and you have undergraduates who are considering advanced degrees in Biology, please consider the speakers we have available, and the topics on which they can give seminars.  If you would like to arrange a seminar visit by one of our faculty, contact Steven Juliano.

Our application deadline for graduate admissions is 30 January.  Please visit our Graduate Programs web site for more information about applying for graduate work in Biological Sciences at Illinois State University
