Organismal Biology and Public Outreach Sequence

    for the Biological Sciences Major

Sequence Requirements:

  • Major Core: BSC 196, 197, 201, 203, 219, 220, 297, 304, and the chemistry, math, and physics requirements of the major;
  • Organismal Electives: minimum of 16 hrs of organismal courses (listed below) of which at least two must be laboratory courses (*)
  • Public Outreach: minimum of 120 hrs (2 credit hrs of BSC 398.02, Professional Practice) of practical experience in designing and/or constructing educational materials, and/or presenting science to the general public.  Please see Dr. Armstrong to coordinate your Professional Practice internship.
