Lectures prior to week 8 were given by Charles F. Thompson and are NOT posted on this webpage.

Lectures are organized by week. Lectures will be posted only after the week's lectures are completed, typically on Friday afternoon. The HTML files (blue buttons) should work with any internet browser. [Note: You man be asked to install MS Office Animation Runtime, but it does not appear to be necessary].  If you are using MS Internet  Explorer and have PowerPoint the PowerPoint files (gray buttons) should work.  If you have a problem accessing the lectures, contact me. 

If you want to print the lectures, the PowerPoint version is probably better, however, printing can be strange in either case.  If you need help with printing, ask me.

The text for this course is:  The Economy of Nature 5th ed. by  R. E. Ricklefs.  You can access the W.H. Freeman website for this book at http://www.whfreeman.com/ricklefs5e/.  The  website contains supplementary material, interactive tutorials on graphs, study guides, and chapter outlines.  This material may prove useful in studying for this course.
